FINAL part 2

Thanksgiving signs??

I looked at Carl's blog today and I noticed it said we needed to make a blog about thanks giving but unfortunately I wasn't able to be at the class before but I will get it up tonight after class! It also didn't say how long it needed to be so ill make it three min!

Over the break

I am so glad I've learned sign language and can help teach my family! It has been a huge help while my mouth was healing (and still healing) from those teeth being removed! Instead of talking I could sign them something and they understood me!!! I really am glad my family and I know some signs to communicate!

Tuesdays class

Wow we learned a lot! It was hard to grasp some of the signs since professor Carl was going really quick but I was okay with it since it was too much for my head and it started hurting. But I do have to say I love being able to see a book that has been signed! I hope when I have children I'll be able to teach them signs that we are using in class! I've heard that they are smarter or develop better when they lean sign language!

This week for ASL

I have loved this week! I liked learning how to sign bird and nest. And learning how to construct sentences in sign language! I feel like I'm really getting it finally!!!

Reflection for the week

I really enjoyed class this week! I feel like we're really learning a lot of things and I like the books that were signing. This week when I come to class I'm dragging and sleepy but during class u entertain me enough to wake me up! It really is the best class EVER!

Reflection from 10-18, (I was a b)

I really enjoyed getting to make up stories about the LEGO people.  I think that doing it twice in one night was a little tough because it seemed like we were rushed and the story wasn't as complex and fun I thought.  I wish that we had a little more time to get to play/create our stories.  I think that it is really fun to make stories using the signs that we know.  I feel like it really helped me since I went to the tutoring session before we had class and learned new signs.

Class 10-16-12

This class was interesting.  I find it hard to remember which who is the right who, wouldn't it be easier if we just used the same who every time?  I do like though how we are starting to use our facial expressions more in class to convey what we are trying to get across.  I feel like this is something that is important to ASL and I am glad we got to learn it now.  I think practicing multiple times a day is something that I have to work on since this class has multiple signs that mean the same thing it seems.  Overall I thought this was a good class though and I feel like we learned a lot!

I found this really hard to do for three minutes.   I also think it is really hard because I don't want to sign something that is offensive.
